Camp Supervision

Bill Collins
had 24 years of experience working with a therapeutic camping program for boys before joining Wilderness Way in 2006. He has a BS in Early Childhood Education from UNC-G and a MS in Special Education from UT-K. Bill is serving as Executive Director.

John Bowman received a BA in Psychology from UNC-A and a MA in Church and Community Services from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary. John has over fourteen years of therapeutic camping experience - three with a boys program and over eleven in his current role of Camp Director at Wilderness Way.

Carol Yoder has been a part of Wilderness Way since 1995. Carol served as a group chief and supervisor before returning to school to pursue a Nursing Associates Degree. She returned to camp in 2001 and currently serves as our Program Director.
Anita Weaver serves as the camp Educational Coordinator. Anita began as a group chief in 1996. She became certified in Special Education after graduating from Clemson University in 2009.
